Kindergarten Bird Beaks

Spring is here and we are seeing more and more birds every day. Birds eat many kinds of foods. How can you tell what a bird eats? One way to tell is to look at its beak. The kindergartners experimented with four different types of "beaks" with four different types of "food". Not every beak was successful at "eating" each type of food. The students graphed their results and then played a Bird Beak and Food matching game on the SMART Board.
